Tokyo 2017 – Tokyo Streets in Monochrome
Obviously I took a huge amount of images during my last trip to Tokyo in August of 2017. And for the most part I tend to prefer to share and publish my colour images versus the monochrome ones. I think this is because Tokyo is such a vibrant and colourful place that I really want to showcase the intensity of what can be experienced there. As I shoot in RAW format, I choose which images to edit in colour versus those I choose to edit in monochrome later on. Once I am home and going through my images this becomes a part of my post processing experience. Below I share with you all a number of images that I chose to edit in black and white. Why? Well perhaps they held more intensity with the colour gone. Or perhaps removing the distraction of colour allows for an element to pop out. I hope you enjoy this gallery. G
