Robot Restaurant – Shinjuku, Tokyo
A couple of weeks ago I wrote and published a blog about my evening at the Robot Restaurant in Shinjuku, Tokyo. You can read more about that by clicking here. On that evening I took with me my Fujifilm X-T2 and the Fujifilm XF23mmF2 lens. This combination performed exceptionally given the circumstances. It was a very tight theatre area and often the performers were right in your face. Add to this that it was very dark and fast paced. For the most part I chose to shoot on High Continuous, allowing the camera to auto focus and take bursts of images. It never once got to a point where the camera was buffering images to the card and prevented me from taking more shots. As a result I took over 2,000 images at the event. In the blog mentioned above I only posted a handful of the best images. Here are a larger selection of additional images that I wanted to share on my site. I hope you enjoy!
