Can’t believe it is already Christmas!

I have been quite busy in the last few weeks and as a result have not had a chance to write much here on my site for you, my community. I have had a few actual paid jobs on the go including some photography jobs which have been great. One a portrait shoot for young…

TOKYO 2019 – Preliminary Plans, Thoughts and Hopes!

I love the sound of that! Tokyo2019. To me, it sounds great! Like a rock tour! I would have liked Tokyo 2018 of course but as I have written throughout the year, some financial focuses were necessary. I am very house proud and so very committed to providing my children with a safe, secure and well-kept home.…

Launceston, Photography and Hanging With The ORP

Good morning to everywhere and I hope that you all have had a great weekend. I realised suddenly that I had not written for a couple of weeks and just as suddenly felt the need to get my thoughts together and do a little catch-up piece. Heading into the Christmas season, as we know it here in Australia (probably more politically correct to call it Holiday Season), and things just start to get busy. But…

Melbourne Streets With The Fujifilm X Series – November 2018

On the weekend I had a fantastic day of photography. As I have written about in the past, I am a member of a Fujifilm photographers community that supports Fujifilm X Series photographers here in Australia. I am an Admin for that group and also write a lot of blogs for their site. The group…

Rippon Lea Estate & St.Kilda Botanical Gardens – With the Fujifilm X70

I have been trying to get out every day to take a walk for exercise, get some fresh air to clear my head and take some photos to satisfy my photography itch. Fortunately, the weather has turned here in Melbourne and we are getting some amazingly beautiful days at the moment. Sunny with blue skies…

Hiroshima in Colour – With Fujifilm X Series.

In recent blogs, I have been publishing many images from my 2016 trip to Japan. During that trip I visited Osaka, Kyoto and Hiroshima. Each amazing cities and wonderfully different from each other. I have just finished re-editing a large number of images from my trip and have chosen this time to publish some new…

A Day Exploring Kyoto – With Fujifilm X Series

In more recent blogs I have been exploring and sharing more details about my experiences in various parts of Japan. And a big part of this is my coming across images from those journeys, that I have never published before. Or, at the very least, never published in colour. Some I had not even edited…

Kyoto in Colour – With Fujifilm X Series

When I returned from my 2016 trip to Japan I made a decision to only publish images in black and white. That was the case for the images I edited and published on social media and also in a large photo book I made. That was a decision that I have no regrets about but…

Kyoto Railway Museum – Kyoto, Japan 2016

It is so nice to reminisce about travels and holidays and experiences that we have enjoyed. As you will know, if you have been following my blogs, I like to talk about my travels to Japan and from time to time re-review my collection of photos from that time to find hidden gems that I had not…
